These terms cover your use of Hire Overseas University. By creating an account, applying to Premium, or using the platform, you agree to them.

1. What HOU is

Hire Overseas University ("HOU," "we," "us") is a free AI training platform operated by Hire Overseas. We teach practical AI skills and, for a hand-picked group of contractors, provide funded tools and priority consideration for placement with Hire Overseas clients.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into these terms to use HOU. The platform is intended for working adults seeking to build AI skills and employment opportunities.

3. Free and Premium tracks

The Free track (courses, skills library, community) is available at no cost via Google sign-in. The Premium track is by application only, hand-picked, and also costs you nothing — we cover the AI tools used during training.

Applying to Premium, or completing any course, is not a guarantee of employment or placement. Placement depends on client hiring needs, your performance, and other factors outside our control.

4. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you believe your account has been compromised.

5. Acceptable use

When using HOU, you agree not to:

  • Share your account access or course/video content outside the platform
  • Submit false or misleading information in your application
  • Use the platform to harass, spam, or harm other members of the community
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the platform

We may suspend or terminate access for violating these terms.

6. Content and intellectual property

Course videos, lessons, and the Universal Skills Library are owned by Hire Overseas and provided for your personal learning use — not for redistribution or resale. If you submit a skill or prompt via our contribution form, you grant us the right to include it in the shared library, with credit where practical.

7. Third-party tools

Course content may reference or require third-party AI tools (e.g., Claude). Your use of those tools is subject to their own terms, separate from HOU's.

8. No warranty

HOU is provided "as is." We work to keep courses accurate and the platform reliable, but we don't guarantee the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that completing it will lead to a specific outcome or job offer.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Hire Overseas is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of HOU. Since the Free and Premium tracks cost you nothing, our liability for any claim is limited accordingly.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do; continued use after a change means you accept the update.
